The Nagarathar story

Bankers, traders & builders.

The Nagarathar community originated in Tamil Nadu and built extensive trade, banking and commerce networks across South and Southeast Asia through the 19th and 20th centuries.

With that wealth came responsibility — a lasting tradition of building schools, temples and hospitals in service of the community.
